Shirts:
We have had two reiterations of our logo for the coalition. You have seen our most recent one here on the web page and in our conference documents. Our first logo appeared on our documents and on our original shirts and sweatshirts. (We still have a few of these.) That logo represented the diversity of women and our membership. There were various clues like a cane, skirt, pants and light and dark skin. Our present design on our shirts is done for us by the talented Laurie Kanyer. Laurie presented at our annual conference three years ago on the topic of grief and loss. At that time she developed this design depicting a branch of a lantern tree in her back yard. The lanterns look like little Japanese lanterns and symbolize hope and light in darkness. The design is wispy and delicate. It also is replicated down one sleeve. Very lovely. |
